As Diablo 4 Season 1 comes to an end ahead of Season of the Blood, players are fed up with the ‘time-wasting’ Dungeon mechanics. As an open-world action RPG, Dungeons are the heart of the game but players seem to have grown tired of the game’s Dungeon content.

After one of the biggest and most successful launches in recent RPG history, Diablo 4 has been subject to a lot of criticism recently. Although the game started brilliantly being one of the highest-viewed games on the planet, its popularity seems to have decreased a lot.

Ahead of Season 2, many fans have been complaining about the lack of content in the game’s Dungeons. With slow progression and ‘time-wasting’ mechanics, players have grown tired of the exploration provided in the RPG.

Many fans consider Diablo 4’s Patch 1.1.0 as one of the most controversial patches ever and recent viewership charts indicate that the game’s popularity is in decline. Now that Season 1 is reaching its end, it seems like many players have started dropping the game altogether.

Those who are still playing have also grown tired of the game’s Dungeon mechanics. Players on Reddit have mentioned the lack of content in the game and that the Dungeons “waste so of our much time.”

Diablo 4 player dontha3 took to Reddit to complain and many players in the comments agreed that most Dungeon mechanics lead to searching dead bodies for an item that evidently always appears at the last body.

As it is “100% predictable,” many feel that constantly searching all the stuff when you will absolutely find your item in the end is just a waste of time.

As Season 2 is just around the corner, many feel that it is the best time for the game to go through a redemption arc. The devs have promised that an extensive list of new content is coming in Season 2, so it’s bound to bring some traction and Blizzard could even address these complaints with the update.
