The Diablo 4 devs have released a new patch 1.1.4 hotfix, which is meant to prevent a popular exploit players were using in Season 1. Here’s everything you need to know about the Diablo 4 patch 1.1.4 hotfix.

Blizzard just released a surprise hotfix for Diablo 4 which aims to correct a popular exploit while also increasing experience gains. This fix has been added to Patch 1.1.4, an update that rolled out on September 12, 2023.

Players aren’t too thrilled with this hotfix, since it impacts the Seeds of Hatred exploit, which allowed players to farm this type of in-game currency at an excessive rate in PvP mode. Seeds of Hatred is used to buy special and rare items in the nearby town, and the update ensures the game’s economy is stabilized.

Diablo 4 devs have also boosted the experience gains for World Tier 3 and World Tier 4 players. Players in World Tier 3 now get a 5% boost, while players in World Tier 4 get an additional 15% for slaying enemies.
