The Pale Heart in Destiny 2

Luminescent Seeds are a new kind of destination material in Destiny 2 The Final Shape, but they can be a bit tricky to locate. Here is how to get them and what to use them for.

The Final Shape added a ton of new content for Destiny 2 players, including new activities, a brand-new subclass, and a variety of Exotic and Legendary weapons. Additionally, you can now find a new destination material on the Pale Heart: Luminescent Seeds.

So, here are all the locations you can look for Luminescent Seeds in Destiny 2 and what to do with them.

Where to find Luminescent Seeds in Destiny 2 The Final Shape

You can find Luminescent Seeds in Destiny 2 by completing Overthrow activities and defeating bosses.

Overthrow is a new activity in the Pale Heart, and it appears periodically in The Impasse, The Blooming, and The Landing.

The activity requires you to solve some puzzles, cleanse areas, defeat enemies, and defeat a unique boss at the end of it. Once you have defeated the boss, you can open the chest to possibly find a Luminescent Seed.

What to do with Luminescent Seeds in Destiny 2 The Final Shape

You can plant Luminescent Seeds in black hands sprouting from the ground to activate Pale Blessings in Destiny 2.

You can find these black hands all around the Pale Heart, but clusters mostly appear in The Impasse, The Blooming, and The Landing. Approach one of these hands to get a prompt to “Plant” the Luminescent Seed.

Once you have done so, a small shrub made of light will appear. You can then interact with it to activate Pale Blessings.

All Pale Blessings & how to activate them in Destiny 2 The Final Shape

To activate Pale Blessings in Destiny 2, you need to pick one from the Traveler’s Blessings node on your map. Follow these steps to activate them:

  1. Open your map and go to the Pale Heart.
  2. Navigate to the Traveler’s Blessing node.
  3. Pick a blessing you want to use.
  4. Activate it using the flower you just bloomed with the Luminescent Seed.

If you’re having trouble finding the Traveler’s Blessing node, it’s right next to the Pathfinder objective node. Here are the Blessings you can choose from:

  • Traveler’s Grace: Gain the effect of another Traveler’s Blessing for a limited time.
  • Traveler’s Insight: Gain increased Super ability regeneration.
  • Traveler’s Facet: Gain increased class ability regeneration.
  • Traveler’s Valor: Gain increased Melee ability regeneration.
  • Traveler’s Resurgence: Gain increased Grenade ability regeneration.
  • Traveler’s Remedy: Gain increased health regeneration for a limited time.
  • Traveler’s Aegis: Gain a regenerating Overshield for a limited time.

You can only have one Pale Blessing active at a time, and they are only active while you are on the Pale Heart. While you’re fighting Overthrow bosses, also be sure to keep an eye out for Modes of Light so you can unlock the Exotic Khvostov.
