Destiny 2 players will be able to get their hands on some desirable loot through an activity called Riven’s Wishes. Here’s everything you need to know about the Destiny 2 Riven’s Wishes even, including when the event starts and the rewards that you can earn from it.

Although the seasonal storyline in Destiny 2 Season of the Wish has concluded, a brand new in-game event known as Riven’s Wishes will be going live soon. As a part of this event, you will be able to acquire some amazing loot in Destiny 2.

Over the past couple of weeks of this season, Guardians have been running around Riven’s Lair trying to retrieve all her eggs. While Riven and her Spirit have ceased to exist after granting the 15th Wish, she still has a few rewards in store for the Guardians for their efforts.

Destiny 2 Riven’s Wishes start date

The Destiny 2 Riven’s Wishes event is set to start after the January 30 update goes live, as mentioned in the This Week in Destiny (TWID) blog post. Given that these updates go live a little before or during the weekly reset in the game, you will be able to access this in-game event after the weekly reset itself.

Destiny 2 Riven’s Wishes explained

During the Destiny 2 Riven’s Wishes event, once a week, Mara Sov will give you a high-risk high-reward mission where you will have to complete different activities in the game. If you successfully manage to complete the activity, you will receive a reward token.

You can then redeem this token at the Spirit of Riven in exchange for some desirable rewards. While the event itself will be available for six weeks, you can complete these missions till The Final Shape releases on June 4, 2024.

There are three categories of rewards for the Destiny 2 Riven’s Wishes in-game event. You can exchange one reward token for one reward from any of the three categories, which are as follows:

• Exotics
• Miscellany

You can choose one of the weapons from the Last Wish Raid. The weapon that you choose will drop with Deepsight Resonance.
