Destiny 2’s Season of the Wish is now live with new Exotics, Seasonal Activities, Season Pass, and much more. Here is all that was added in terms of Exotics for Season 23 in Destiny 2, as well as how to get them.

With the release of The Final Shape DLC delayed, the Season of the Wish runtime is longer than other seasons in Destiny 2, now ending on June 4, 2024. That means you’ll have more than enough time to see everything the season has to offer, including all the Exotics that were added.

For Season of the Wish, Bungie have already added two new Exotic weapons and a Catalyst to a previous weapon. A third new Exotic, tied to the upcoming Warlord’s Ruin dungeon in Destiny 2, is confirmed for the season but details on the weapon remain slim. There are no new Exotic armor sets for this season, however.

So, here is the list of Exotic weapons added to Destiny 2 Season of the Wish, and how to get them.

All new Exotics in Destiny 2 Season of the Wish

Dragon’s Breath & Catalyst

Destiny 2 Dragon's Breath Rocket Launcher
The Dragon’s Breath is back from the archives of Destiny 1, and comes with a new intrinsic perk.

The returning Dragon’s Breath is the most talked-about Exotic in Destiny 2 Season of the Wish. The Solar Rocket Launcher is reimagined with new perks.

In Destiny 2, The Dragon’s Breath has a “fuel counter” that fills the longer you go without firing, and once the rocket is fully fueled, upon firing, it’ll stick to the target causing Scorch damage, as well as periodically ejecting incendiary rounds that also do Scorch damage. It has a Catalyst too, which is fairly easy to get.

Wish-Keeper

Wish-Keeper is all about suspend in Destiny 2.

Wish-Keeper is another Exotic that is featured in Destiny 2 Season of the Wish. It is a Stand Bow, and here are all the details on the perks:

  • Snareweaver – Precision hits and final blows build energy towards a Snareweaver arrow that can be fired from the hip. On impact, Snareweaver arrows create a pattern of traps that suspend nearby targets.
  • Silkbound Slayer – This weapon deals bonus damage to suspended targets. Gain faster draw time for a short duration when you suspend a target from any source or damage a suspended target with this weapon.

Thorn Catalyst

The Thorn was also in the original Destiny.

Thorn’s Catalyst doesn’t radically change its playstyle or add anything new to the gun in Destiny 2 but it does increase some of its stats, like range and stability.

Unknown Dungeon Exotic

Like every other Dungeon, the upcoming Warlord’s Ruin dungeon will also feature exclusive Catalysts in Destiny 2 Season of the Wish. We do not have any official information on the gun, other than a hint that it’ll be a rocket sidearm.

As per datamining, it’ll be a Void Rocket Siderarm and will also have a Catalyst. We’ll update once we have full information on the gun. The Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon is currently scheduled for December 1.
