In order to ensure you effectively block enemies’ vision while you make your way towards the A bomb site in CS2’s Overpass, you should know how to smoke off three key areas: Bank, A-Site stairs, and the default position.

Bank Smoke

Align yourself up against the first wall of the Toilet entrance while aiming your crosshair right above top topmost window of the bank, and perform a standard throw.

Taking mid-control, at the start of most rounds, in CS2’s Overpass is vital to gain info along with the option to attack either bomb site. It’s easy to take control of the Mid area with just the Toilets smoked. For the opponents holding the A-Short area next to the Toilets, you can simply use a flash.

Additionally, you can provide support to your CT teammates defending the B-Site by smoking off the Monster and A-Short positions from the back of the A-site.

While most of the smokes above are for the T side, if you’re wondering about more lineups for the CT side smokes, you don’t need them. On the CT side, you can just smoke off the entrances/chokepoints.

Additionally, you can hold off on using your smokes and save them for retaking sites after the bomb’s been planted.

CS2: Important Molotov lineups for A & B bomb sites

While attacking the A-Site, you should know how to molly the truck area. On the other hand, while making your way into the B-Site, if you’re not smoking off the barrels, you should molly to move the enemies off of that position.

CS2: Best flashes for Overpass

There are no specific flash lineups you need to keep in mind while queuing for CS2’s Overpass. However, here are a few tips to help you utilize your flash grenade in the best way possible:

  • Always flash behind your teammates if you’re trying to support them with a flash. If you’re using a mic, call the flash while you’re throwing it so they’re aware of your flash.
  • Learn pop flashes as they’re harder to dodge and predict.
  • Always flash before peeking in areas where AWPers are most likely holding.
  • A couple of flashes before executing a rush can give you easy control of the area.

So there you have it! That’s all the smokes, molotov grenades, and flash lineups you need to know for Overpass in CS2. For more on CS2, make sure to check out the following:
