Warzone Mobile Season 3 Reloaded release date

Warzone Mobile Season 3 Reloaded arrived on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 11 AM PT / 2 PM EDT / 7 PM BST, following the game’s Japanese-themed Golden Week event.

Warzone Mobile Season 3 Reloaded new game modes

Warzone Mobile receives new game modes for both Verdansk and Rebirth Island in Season 3 Reloaded, as stated by the devs in the blog, including Buy Back Battle Royale and High Voltage.

Buy Back Battle Royale

Buy Back Battle Royale is a variation of the main mode located in Verdansk, which maintains the same general rules, but with the difference that the Gulag will be closed. This means players will only have a single life. However, in Duos, Trios, and Quads, players can buy back a teammate who has died too early.

High Voltage

Featured on Rebirth Island, “massive lightning storms are wreaking havoc” in the limited-time High Voltage mode. This LTM allows players in Rebirth Island who get struck by lightning to earn a random Perk.

Warzone Mobile players who get struck by lightning can earn random Perks.

Warzone Mobile Season 3 Reloaded map feature: Viking Runes

Coming with Warzone Mobile Season 3 Reloaded, the game receives a new map feature in Verdansk called Viking Runes which players can interact with by destroying them to earn in-game rewards.

Finishing Moves Customization

QUALITY OF LIFE

More Ways to Play
- WZM now natively supports Xbox and PlayStation controllers, complete with UI prompts.
More Ways to Login
- You can now link your Xbox, PlayStation, or Battle.Net accounts to your Activision account, and use them to login to WZM.
Expanded Field of View (Coming later this season)
- The player Field of View (FOV) can now be increased to a maximum value of 120.

BUG FIXES

Graphics and Performance-Related Fixes:

Fixed a bug which allowed players to equip two attachments in the same category, causing graphical corruption.
Reduced the complexity of shaders on some lower-end devices
Fixed a crash that would occur when a player used the WSP Swarm Akimbo. (Affected devices: Pixel 6, Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G)
Adjusted some of the default graphics tiers for some devices for more consistent performance.
Fixed an issue which would cause players to disconnect mid-match when playing BR Solos.

GENERAL FIXES

Fixed a bug where various weapons including the MCW 6.8 would have abnormally large level caps
Fixed a bug that showed the player’s own operator name in the loadout menu when spectating a squadmate instead of the squadmate being watched.
Fixed an issue where push notifications would not lead to the intended location if the game was fully closed in the background.
Fixed a bug which caused the Customize HUD tutorial to appear when accessing the HUD Customization menu in-game
Fixed a bug where the “Streaming…” icon would disappear quickly or sometimes not appear at all when viewing Operators inside the main menu.
Fixed a bug where the “Upgrade Account” button would not appear if the player began the process of upgrading an account, but never finished.
Fixed a bug which occasionally would kick a player back the main menu when trying to enter the Killstreaks menu.
Fixed a bug which prevented players from adding other players whose accounts were older Activision accounts as friends (these accounts lacked a hashtag and numbers.)
Players can now rotate the camera while following their squad leader during the initial drop.

Lastly, here are a few Known Issues we wanted to specifically call out:

After equipping a calling card, a different calling card may accidentally get equipped
Gyro Controls may be inverted or overly sensitive
Streaming icon does not leave when on the main menu
- This streaming visual issue has a fix for it in this update, however if you are seeing anything like this issue, please call it out and report it so we can investigate further
