Warzone Mobile, the upcoming major release from the Call of Duty franchise, has competitive players eagerly anticipating the inclusion of a Ranked mode, similar to its PC and console version. So, here’s all you need to know about whether Warzone Mobile will feature Ranked Play.

After much anticipation, Warzone Mobile is finally launching globally on March 21, 2024 for iOS and Andriod devices. This game is set to expand Activision’s free-to-play battle royale to mobile platforms, featuring the return of beloved maps Verdansk and Rebirth Island, alongside a multiplayer mode.

However, many Warzone Mobile competitive fans are wondering if the game will follow the PC and console version’s steps and introduce a Ranked mode. So, here’s all you need to know about it.

Will Ranked be available in Warzone Mobile?

No, Ranked won’t be available in Warzone Mobile at launch. However, developers did confirm that they plan to add it in the future. On their official Discord server, they stated it “won’t likely be fully implemented until on or after the WWL (worldwide launch).”

Regarding Ranked’s progression being linked to the PC and console version, the dev team stated that from a balanced perspective, having both ranked systems cross-progress “wouldn’t make a ton of sense.”

Additionally, the team shared that the game could have a separate Ranked system that could potentially carry separate rewards from the PC and console version.

Keep in mind that the plans for Ranked Play could change before and after the worldwide launch. However, the dev team shared they’re focused on introducing a competitive mode for fans to enjoy and earn exclusive rewards.
