JGOD reveals Warzone’s new meta after Season 1 Reloaded buffs & nerfs
ActivisionSeason 1 Reloaded has seen a wide variety of weapon changes significantly shifting the game’s meta. Warzone expert JGOD has shared the new meta following the mid-season update’s buffs and nerfs.
Warzone’s Season 1 Reloaded update brought a ton of new content for players to enjoy. Among them, the mid-season update also carried multiple weapon changes, including the long-awaited MTZ Interceptor and WSP Swarm nerfs, intending to significantly shift the game’s meta.
With Warzone having a huge arsenal of weapons to select from, choosing the best ones after a major update can be difficult. Luckily, Warzone content creator JGOD has shared some interesting weapon choices that could take over the long and close-range meta following the update.
While JGOD mentions a ton of weapon options in a January 19 video, a few of them stand out thanks to their overall stats. For close range, the expert picked Season 1 Reloaded’s HRM-9 SMG, as he considered it “100% meta” and on par with the WSP Swarm. For long-range, the fan-favorite RAM-7 AR takes the top spot, thanks to its nonexistent visual recoil.

Best HRM-9 loadout for Warzone Season 1 Reloaded

With the WSP Swarm being nerfed, a fast SMG with excellent mobility like the recently added HRM-9 becomes a priority to comfortably move around the map and effortlessly destroy enemies within buildings.
Best RAM-7 loadout for Warzone Season 1 Reloaded
- Barrel: Cronen Headwind Long Barrel
- Muzzle: Casus Brake
- Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
- Stock: HVS 3.4 Pad
- Magazine: 60 Round Drum
When it comes to long distances, easy-to-control Assault Rifles like the RAM-7 are most players’ go-to, especially in big maps like Urzikstan. The weapon also has zero visual recoil, so you’ll surely have everything to dominate enemies from afar.
Although the choice of the best weapons will shift in the coming days, these JGOD options should help significantly set the new standard.
