How to unlock TR-76 Geist AR in Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2 Season 6

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Season 6 is the last full season before MW3, bringing major crossovers with Diablo, Spawn, and more. Of course, there are also new weapons to unlock so here’s how to get the TR-76 Geist Assault Rifle.

With Modern Warfare 3 arriving in November, Modern Warfare 2‘s seasonal content enters its final chapter with Season 6. This swansong season brings back the Haunting event and crossover Operators such as Diablo 4’s Inarius and Lilith, Spawn, and Skeletor.

New seasons always bring new weapons, and Season 6 brings four of them − the TR-76 Geist Assault Rifle, ISO 9mm SMG, Dual Kama Melee, and the Doom Chainsaw in the mid-season update.

Here’s how to unlock the TR-76 Geist in Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 Season 6.

How to unlock TR-76 Geist in Warzone & MW2

The TR-76 Geist Assault Rifle is unlocked by completing Sector F7 of the MW2 and Warzone Season 6 Battle Pass. Luckily, this is one of the free Sectors, so there’s no need to purchase the full Battle Pass to get your hands on the new weapon.

The TR-76 Geist is described as a “hard-hitting bullpup assault rifle chambered in 7.62 x 39 mm” that can be “adapted to fit a wide range of tactics and combat scenarios.”

With “solid damage with a moderate rate of fire,” it has manageable recoil and can be turned semi-automatic magazine for “even higher damage and greater precision.”

Whether the TR-76 Geist Assault Rifle will be a meta choice remains to be seen, but it’s worth unlocking as it will also be there in Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer thanks to the content carrying forward.
