Players play as Ronald “Red” Daniels, a 19 year old, in WWII campaign

Sledgehammer Games has revealed that in the Call of Duty: WWII campaign, players will play as a 19 year old from Texas, Ronald “Red” Daniels.

This character is not a trained soldier or a superhero in this game. He’s a regular kid that traveled to Europe and was given a weapon to fight side by side with other soldiers.
