MW3 expert reveals fan-favorite MW2 SMG is meta after massive buff
ActivisionMW3 has a wide variety of weapons players can choose from, however, a multiplayer expert found out that a fan-favorite SMG is set to dominate the multiplayer again after a massive buff in Season 2 Reloaded.
MW3 Season 2 Reloaded is fully underway bringing a ton of content to its multiplayer, including new modes, as well as new weaponry, like the Soulrender and SOA Subverter, and several buffs and nerfs that considerably shifted the game’s meta.
Since its release, the game’s meta hasn’t featured any weapons from MW2. However, the gun adjustments in Season 2 Reloaded changed this by allowing the Lachmann Sub MP5 to become a popular pick again.
In his March 10 video, expert WhosImmortal brought this up, claiming that the massive changes to the classic Submachine Gun following the mid-season update have made the weapon a popular choice within multiplayer.

- Laser: Kimura RY33 Laser Light
- Barrel: L38 Falcon 226mm
- Muzzle: ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider
- Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
Despite being an MW2 gun, to create the best loadout for the Lachmann Sub, WhosImmortal picked a selection of the best MW3 attachments given that MW2 ones “suck,” he stated.
To kick off the best loadout, the creator picked the Kimura RY33 Laser Light to improve the gun’s aim walking steadiness, Tac Stance spread, and sprint-to-fire and ADS speeds. Combined with the L38 Falcon 226mm Barrel which further improves ADS and movement speeds.
Then, he chose the ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider Muzzle which will enhance both the horizontal and vertical recoil as well as the firing aim stability.
Lastly, the DR-6 Handstop Underbarrel will vastly boost the aim walking, aim down sights, sprint-to-fire, and movement speeds. Along with the 40 Round Mag to prevent you from easily running out of bullets.
