Call of Duty celebrates 20th anniversary with massive sale
ActivisionCall of Duty fans will be happy to hear that the incredibly popular FPS is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a huge sale on every title in the franchise.
Call of Duty is a staple in gaming, as it’s arguably the most popular FPS franchise of all time and perhaps even one of the most successful gaming franchises, full stop.
Activision‘s Call of Duty was brought into the world back in October 2003, with the franchise’s first-ever release simply titled ‘Call of Duty.’ The brand developed, and Call of Duty became the gargantuan franchise many know it as today.
As we approach October 2023 and the release of Modern Warfare 3, Activision, Xbox, Steam, and Battle.net have decided to celebrate the CoD’s 20th anniversary with a huge sale on all of their games.
Call of Duty 20th anniversary sale: Start & end dates
Starting on September 12 and ending on September 27, 2023, players can save “up to 67% on Call of Duty games” exclusively through the Xbox Store, Steam, and Battle.net.
This comes after the old Call of Duty multiplayer servers were brought back online on Xbox consoles, allowing players to enjoy the servers once again after years of safety issues and hackers making them unplayable.
