Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 Reloaded has arrived, bringing with it the new Prestige Camos and Arcade playlist. It also marks the return of the BAL-27, the fast-firing Assault Rifle from Advanced Warfare that’s looking to take over the meta.

- Barrel: Crown-H3 Barrel

The best BAL-27 loadout in MW3 doubles down on its short-range capabilities while making it more effective in more mid to long-range encounters. Kicking things off is the Zehmn35 Compensated Flash Hider reduces the Assault Rifle’s recoil to make it far more accurate over distance.
Then, the Crown-H3 Barrel makes up for the range and bullet velocity lost by the Muzzle, to ensure the first few slower shots hit their intended target. The Sandbar Heavy Stock is also an ideal choice, as it improves the stability even once the fire rate speeds up.
When it comes to close range, the DR-6 Handstop is a must-use as it buffs the ADS and sprint-to-fire speeds, ensuring you always get the first shot in. Finally, 60 Round Mags mean you can deal with multiple enemies before having to reload.
With this build, I found that BAL-27 struck the perfect balance between melting players in close-quarters fights, while still being accurate enough to compete on larger maps. The iron sights are nice and clean, but you could also swap the Stock for the JAK Glassless Optic if you wanted even more recoil control.
