Here’s our best MW3 MTZ Interceptor loadout, so you can take advantage of the powerful Marksman Rifle with the optimal attachments, Perks, and Equipment.

There are many weapons to choose from in Modern Warfare 3, and depending on your playstyle, you may opt for Battle Rifles such as the MTZ Interceptor due to their performance at range.

If you’re interested in using the MTZ Interceptor in MW3, here’s the best loadout for the gun in Season 3, inclduing the attachments, Perks, and Equipment to use.

Best MW3 MTZ Interceptor loadout attachments

  • Barrel: MTZ Longshot Pro Barrel
  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor L
  • Stock: Bruen Archangel MK2
  • Magazine: 20 Round Mag
  • Optic: JAK NRG-IV Optic

We’re kicking off this best MW3 MTZ Interceptor loadout with the MTZ Longshot Pro Barrel, which improves the weapon’s bullet velocity, range, recoil control, gun kick control, and aiming idle sway.

The Monolithic Suppressor L muzzle will make you undetectable by enemy radar. It will also help with recoil control, which is I found essential when using this weapon, as you need to hit your shots due to the slower fire rate.

To counteract the loss of mobility with the barrel, we’ve chosen the Bruen Archangel MK2, which improves the aim down sight speed with the weapon.

Lastly, the 20 Round Mag is essential, as the base 10 round mag is simply not enough, and the JAK NRG-IV Optic is a nice clean sight for you to stay on target with, but you can use any sight of your preference.

Best MW3 MTZ Interceptor loadout Perks & Equipment

  • Vest: Engineer
  • Gloves: Marksman
  • Boots: Covert Sneakers
  • Gear: EOD Padding
  • Gear: Ghost T/V Camo
  • Lethal: Scatter Mine
  • Field Upgrade: Trophy System

As for the Perks, we’ve chosen the Engineer Vest, which allows you to spot enemy Equipment, Field Upgrades, and Killstreaks through walls, while also providing a faster recharge time for your Field Upgrade.

The Marksman Gloves are perfect for the MTZ Interceptor, as they reduce sway and flinch while aiming down sights. When it comes to Boots, we’ve chosen the Stalker Boots, which improves strafe and ADS movement speed.

Thanks to the Engineer Vest, you can have two pieces of Gear, so we’ve gone for the EOD Padding for protecting against explosives and Ghost T/V Camo for added protection against enemy UAVs.

For Equipment, we’ve gone with the Scatter Mine, as you’ll want to prevent enemies from getting up close. The Engineer Vest replaces a Lethal with two Tacticals, so you’ll have two of these mines to place.

Lastly, the Trophy System Field Upgrade will keep you safe from enemy explosives while you’re trying to pick enemies off from a distance.

How to unlock MTZ Interceptor in MW3

To unlock the MTZ Interceptor, you will need to activate and complete the Armory Unlock for the weapon, which requires you to complete five daily challenges.

This means that you will need to go to the Armory Unlock page and activate the challenge. Once activated, you can then complete five daily challenges to unlock the weapon. You can also head into Zombies, find the weapon, and then extract with it to unlock it.

Best MTZ Interceptor alternatives in MW3

If you’re looking for something similar, give the KVD Enforcer a go, as this is another Marksman Rifle that packs a punch. If you’re looking for something slightly different, try the BAS-B, a fully automatic Battle Rifle that is very powerful at mid-to-long ranges.
