Call of Duty content creator JGOD took a deep dive into the Warzone 2 long-range meta stats, revealing a surprising pick for the fastest killing weapon at long ranges.

After the Warzone 2 Season 5 update, players may be wondering which weapons have shot to the top of the meta after the introduction of new weapons and various buffs and nerfs.

Luckily, content creator and Warzone expert JGOD is known for analyzing the stats and data in order to figure out which weapons are the most dominant after big updates such as the Season 5 patch, and he’s arrived at a surprising pick for the fastest-killing long-range weapon.

JGOD reveals surprising fastest TTK loadout in Warzone 2 Season 5 for long-range

In his August 8 YouTube video, JGOD revealed that the Lachmann 762 in semi-auto is actually the fastest-killing weapon in the game for long-range, stating that it’s “completely broken in terms of TTK.”

The TTK numbers for the Lachman 762 Battle Rifle show just how dominant the weapon is in Season 5, as it bests popular picks such as the TAQ-V and the Cronen Squall at range with a base TTK of 690 without headshots.

According to WZRanked, the Lachmann 762 only has a 0.6% pick rate, so it’s certainly surprising to see it at the top of JGOD’s meta long-range picks. Here are the attachments JGOD uses for the Lachman 762:

  • Barrel: Tempus GH50
  • Muzzle: 15.9″ Lachmann Rapp
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Optic: AIM-OP V4
  • Magazine: 50 Round Mag

You may think it would be better to use the Lachman 762 in full auto, however, JGOD strongly recommends the weapon in the default semi-automatic.

The only downside to the weapon which JGOD mentions is that it’s “ridiculously hard to use.” However, if you can learn to shoot it fast in semi-auto, “manage the recoil,” and hit your shots, the TTK at long range is incredibly fast, and you’ll be putting enemies down in no time.

JGOD even recommends the weapon as a “Sniper support,” so you will want to pair it with a great close-range SMG like the ISO 45 or the BAS-P, which has risen in popularity since Season 5 buffs.
