Warzone 2 Totally The Same BR mode: Gameplay changes & end date
The Warzone 2 developers have once again delivered the Totally The Same BR LTM, featuring unique rules and gameplay tweaks. So, here’s a breakdown of everything you need to know about Warzone 2 Totally The Same BR.
Warzone 2 is no stranger to limited-time modes to tie in with major occasions and to keep the gameplay fresh. Since the sequel launched we’ve already seen the Rocket League-esque Warzone Cup mode, and the St. Patrick’s Day celebration that brought the one-shot Sniper.
Then, the developers brought the Totally The Same LTM on April Fool’s Day, explaining that there’s “nothing weird about it” and “it’s Totally the Same BR that you’re used to.”
This is far from the case, so let’s take a look at all the gameplay changes in Warzone 2 Totally the Same BR mode, and how long it will be live.
Warzone 2 Totally The Same BR gameplay changes
The first thing you’ll notice when entering Warzone 2 Totally the Same BR is low gravity has been turned on, and there’s no fall damage so you can easily jump from any spot on the map without worrying about losing health.
Players can also visit the Gulag infinite times in a match, so the only way to be eliminated permanently is by losing the 1v1. The devs are also teasing fans with a “Build and Arm a Nuke” option at Buy Stations, which can’t actually be purchased.

Warzone 2 Totally The Same BR start & end date
The latest return of Warzone 2 Totally The Same BR will make the LTM playable for one day on, April 20, 2023. The LTM is meant to celebrate 420 Day, also known as April 20.
According to the devs: “Totally The Same BR is live in Warzone2 for the next 24 hours!”
Previously, the mode went live on April 1, just in time for April Fool’s Day, giving fans a whole weekend to zip around Al Mazrah in low gravity.
Following its return on April 20, there is currently no word on whether or not the joke mode will make a return later down the line, but given the crazy rules and gameplay changes, we wouldn’t expect to see it anytime soon.
