Warzone 2 Season 4 will bring some pretty major changes to the way in which Strongholds and AI work in the battle royale according to leaks, here are the details.

Warzone 2 Season 4 is just around the corner, bringing the highly-anticipated Vondel map as well as new weapons and a fresh Battle Pass for players to get through.

As well as new content, seasonal updates often bring balance changes and tweaks to the battle royale. Season 4 of Warzone 2 will be no different, and reputable leaker Tom Henderson has revealed some interesting details regarding changes to health, AI, and Strongholds in the new season.

Warzone 2 Season 4 removes AI from Strongholds

According to Tom Henderson, AI will be removed from Strongholds in Warzone 2 Season 4. This will mean that Strongholds will not feature any AI combatants, meaning you can go into them freely without being shot by AI.

Tom Henderson also revealed that Strongholds will become active during Infil, and that “enemy players will be able to see the UAV radius and can recapture the Stronghold.”

Further, inactive Strongholds that are host to the White Supply Boxes will also now be highlighted on the map, allowing players to track down the cash prize.

These changes will no doubt change the Warzone 2 experience if they turn out to be true, as AI has been a controversial topic ever since the game launched. Vondel will feature Strongholds, so players will get a chance to see the changes on the new map as soon as Season 4 launches.

We’ll have to wait for Activision to officially confirm this information for it to be set in stone, so stay tuned for updates. For now, check out why TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS’ Operator bundles were removed from the game.
