Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded is set to bring some major UAV nerfs with the update, so here are all of the details you need to know.

Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded has arrived with a heap of new content for players to enjoy, from the Ranked Play beta to brand-new weapons.

As well as weapon buffs and nerfs, the update also introduced some drastic changes to the popular UAV Killstreak, which has been a massive part of the Call of Duty battle royale experience ever since the original Warzone.

For those interested in all of the details for the UAV changes in Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded, we’ve got you covered.

Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded UAV changes

Starting in Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded, only the player who calls in the UAV will have their area pinged on the map. Further, if the player who called in the UAV dies the Killstreak will end.

This is balanced by the fact that UAVs are now unlimited in Buy Stations and using three UAVs at one time will still upgrade the Killstreak to an Advanced UAV.

The Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded patch notes provided some reasoning behind these UAV changes from the devs, as they claim they “wanted to better balance their power so that they are as equally balanced for Solo’s as they are through Quads.”

They also state that they feel the “Killstreak should come from the Player who calls it in,” so that when players are alerted about an enemy UAV, the player knows that “the total radius covered is of a fixed, known quantity across all modes.”
