Warzone 2 is heating up in the Season 3 Reloaded update, as the patch will be bringing the highly anticipated Ranked Play from Modern Warfare 2 to the battle royale in the form of a beta.

Warzone 2 players have been calling for a ranked mode for many seasons, and since it was announced, the community have been eager to find out how it will work.

So, with that said, here are all of the details on Warzone 2 Ranked Play, including the Skill Rating, Divisions, and Ranks explained.

Warzone 2 Ranked play will test the player’s battle royale skills.

All Warzone 2 Ranked Play Skill Divisions

In Warzone 2 Ranked Play, players will be grinding through eight Skill Divisions to prove their abilities against the rest of the community. You must be at least Level 45 to enjoy ranked, so for those who pass this requirement, here’s a full breakdown of all the Skill Divisions in Warzone 2 Ranked Play, as well as the Skill Rating (SR) needed for each of the ranks:

  • Bronze: 0–899 SR
  • Silver: 900–2,099 SR
  • Gold: 2,100–3,599 SR
  • Platinum: 3,600–5,399 SR
  • Diamond: 5,400–7,499 SR
  • Crimson: 7,500–9,999 SR
  • Iridescent: 10,000 SR minimum
  • Top 250: 10,000+ SR

A Warzone 2 player’s Ranked Play journey will begin in Bronze, where you’ll have to gain Skill Rating in order to roll through the Ranks. Each season players will experience a soft reset to their Skill Division, and they will gain rewards based on their finishing rank from the previous season.

If you’re wondering how you earn Skill Rating in Warzone 2 Ranked Play, here are the details.

How to earn Skill Rating in Warzone 2 Ranked Play: SR explained

Earning Skill Rating or SR in Warzone 2 Ranked Play is as simple as playing matches and performing well by getting kills, assists, and good placement. The SR earned for kills, assists, and squad kills increases as more squads are removed from the lobby.

  • 21+ Squads Remaining: +5 SR per Elimination/Assist, +2 SR per Squadmate Elimination
  • 3–20 Squads Remaining: +7 SR per Elimination/Assist, +3 SR per Squadmate Elimination
  • 1–3 Squads Remaining: +15 SR per Elimination/Assist, +7 SR per Squadmate Elimination

If you don’t perform so well, you will lose SR. When you enter a match of Warzone 2 Ranked Play, there is an initial SR entry fee, so you will need to perform well to break even and then gain Skill Rating.

  • Bronze I–III: No Deployment Fee
  • Silver I: – 10 SR
  • Silver II: – 14 SR
  • Silver III: – 18 SR
  • Gold I: – 23 SR
  • Gold II: – 28 SR
