Warzone 2 offers players dozens of attachments to help them build their ideal loadout, but CoD guru WhosImmortal has dug a little deeper to reveal the hidden pros and cons that could completely reshape how meta loadouts look going forward.

Warzone 2 has plenty of different guns to choose from, all of which excel in different areas, from long-range LMGs like the RPK to close-range monsters like the Fennec 45. Crafting the perfect setup for your weapons is essential to securing victory, especially as earning your loadout is set to become much easier after the Season 2 update.

Thanks to the new in-depth Gunsmith, each weapon comes with a whole host of attachments that can completely alter how it feels and plays, allowing you to tailor it to your specific playstyle.

However, CoD expert WhosImmortal has discovered that many of the game’s attachments have secret stats that aren’t displayed when equipping them.

In his January 29 video, the YouTuber provided a breakdown of the Muzzles available in Warzone 2, revealing that although many of the options claimed to have similar benefits to one another, hidden pros and cons actually make them vastly different.

Secret Warzone 2 attachment stats revealed

He started with the Kastovia DX90 and Zulu-60, which are both supposed to buff recoil control and bullet velocity when viewed in the Gunsmith. But by digging in further using sym.gg, he found that the Zulu actually improves damage range as well, even though it’s supposed to reduce it based on the in-game description.

The Zulu-60 also offered a much bigger increase in bullet velocity than the Kastovia DX90, meaning the former is clearly the superior choice even though they appear to be almost identical at first look.

“It’s interesting to see that those stats are actually incorrect in-game, and you wouldn’t have known that if we didn’t have these raw datamined stats,” WhosImmortal explained.

Many other Muzzles also had very different stats when viewed on sym.gg. The ZLR Talon offers a secret buff to recoil control that is nowhere to be found in the Gunsmith, while the Polarfire-S actually comes with no recoil benefits despite claiming to improve smoothness.

The Echoline GS-X is also significantly weaker than expected, providing none of the recoil buffs listed in the pros section while still harming the damage range.

The discovery of these hidden stats looks set to change the meta builds for popular weapons. For example, WhosImmortal recommended ditching the Harbinger D20 in favor of the Zulu-60 on the TAQ-56.

“You can’t always trust what’s displayed in-game, the bars that we have that represent the damage, that represent the control or the accuracy, aren’t accurate,” the YouTuber continued. “The fact that these pros and cons are not accurate is a pretty huge deal.”

With all this in mind, any Warzone 2 players serious about building the perfect meta loadout for their weapon should consult a more in-depth stats website like sym.gg when playing around with attachments.
