Warzone 2 is packed full of top-tier Assault Rifles that excel at long-range, but CoD guru WhosImmortal has crowned a surprising weapon as the “best rifle” in Season 3 Reloaded.

Like every major update, Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded went to great lengths to shake up the meta and give new guns a chance to shine. Not only did it bring two new secondary weapons to try out, but it also buffed and nerfed many of the existing options.

The Assault Rifle category, in particular, underwent some major changes, as the popular ISO Hemlock was hit with its second nerf in a row. This opened the door for a new AR to take the crown, and many players have been wondering what to run since the update.

Luckily, Warzone 2 expert WhosImmortal has revealed an underrated pick that he believes is the best Assault Rifle in Season 3 Reloaded.

In his May 24 video, the YouTuber explained that the M13B is currently the “number one” AR in the game, despite only having a 1.6% pick rate according to WZ Ranked. He mentioned a number of benefits the M13B has over its competition, including the fact it’s very “easy to use” and its power at long-range.

“It actually now has the best long-range TTK of the rifles,” said WhosImmortal. “When you factor in its damage and its actual TTK, and the fact that its recoil is so low, you get the perfect recipe.”

WhosImmortal’s best M13B loadout in Warzone 2

Muzzle: Harbinger D20
Barrel: 14″ Bruen Echelon
Optic: Aim OP-V4
Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
Magazine: 60 Round Mag

WhosImmortal began his best Warzone 2 M13B loadout with the Harbinger D20 and 14″ Bruen Echelon, both of which buff its damage range and bullet velocity, making the Assault Rifle a monster at mid to long-range.

Then, he went for the Aim OP-V4, which offers a nice amount of zoom without obscuring the whole screen, allowing players to pick off enemies from a distance. He also added 5.56 High Velocity rounds to ensure that every shot hits the intended target at all ranges.

Finally, he rounded out the loadout with the 60 Round Mags, giving you enough ammo to deal with full squads before having to worry about reloading.

With this loadout, WhosImmortal claimed the M13B is a “laser beam,” and is “absolutely deserving of being called the best rifle in the game.” Be sure to take it for a spin in your next Warzone 2 match.
