Surprise Warzone SMG is easiest close-range weapon to use in Season 2
ActivisionEasy-to-use weapons are usually favored among players in Warzone, and luckily, expert WhosImmortal shared an easy-to-use MW2 SMG loadout that could go hand in hand with the game’s current close-range meta.
Warzone Season 2 Reloaded is almost here, and before it arrives, players are getting prepared for all the new content the mid-season update will bring. This includes a new POI, the Bunker Buster Killstreak, the return of the PDS Field Upgrade, and more.
Additionally, with the release of the game’s second season, the existing roster of guns suffered several buffs and nerfs, which ultimately changed the meta. However, expert WhosImmortal shared his best and easy-to-use MX9 loadout in Warzone Season 2.
According to the creator, this “sleeper” SMG can easily counter the current close-range meta, which has been dominated by the HRM-9, AMR9, and RAM-9.

- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Laser: Kimura RYL33 Laser Light
- Barrel: 16.5″ Bruen S901
- Magazine: 32 Round Mag
- Comb: Schlager TTF3 Riser
To kick off WhosImmortal’s easy-to-use MX9 loadout for Warzone, he picked the 16.5″ Bruen S901 Barrel to improve the gun’s damage range, bullet velocity, hip fire accuracy, and movement speed.
Then, the Kimura RYL33 Laser Light will drastically enhance the aim of walking steadiness, Tac Stance spread, and the sprint to fire and ADS speeds. Combined with the Schlager TTF3 Riser and 32 Round Mag, it further improves the movement speed and ammo reserve.
Lastly, he chose the Slate Reflector Optic to avoid the clunky iron sight and provide a clear view to target enemies, preventing them from escaping easily.
The creator thinks that this Warzone SMG isn’t used as much in the game and claims that if players noticed it’s “incredibly easy to use,” it would turn into a great option to dominate short to mid-ranges.
