Thanks to the best attachments and its friendly recoil pattern, Warzone 2’s TAQ-56 is earning the title of easiest weapon to use in Season 1.

While weapons that deal maximum damage are powerful options in Warzone 2, a ton of players tend to gravitate to weapons with impressive accuracy.

Oftentimes, we’ve seen accurate weapons that are easy to control, like the Grau and Automaton, become the most popular in the game. It seems this trend is set to continue in Warzone 2. Currently, the two most popular Season 1 weapons in the game are the M4 and TAQ-56.

Both Assault Rifles are excellent long-range weapons that can be utilized across Al Mazrah‘s terrain with ease. However, despite the M4 being the most popular weapon in Warzone 2, CoD expert Isaac ‘IceManIsaac‘ Hamilton believes that the TAQ-56 is actually easier to use.

  • Barrel: 17.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel
  • Muzzle: Komodo Heavy
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
  • Magazine: 60 Round Mag

IceManIsaac highlights the TAQ-56 as an extremely low recoil weapon. More importantly, it still maintains a fast ADS and quick movement speed without sacrificing other attributes to achieve a low recoil. This makes it a well-rounded weapon that’s perfect for all players.

The TAQ-56’s recoil pattern is naturally easy to tame, but with the FTAC Ripper 56 and Komodo Heavy Muzzle, the AR becomes the easiest weapon to use in Warzone 2 Season 1.

Even at 50 meters, IceManIsaac ensures that you can hit targets with the iron sights, as the recoil is much lower without an optic attachment that magnifies your view. “All the way out to 50 meters, you can see this gun is an absolute beam and it’s got a really fast TTK.”

All five of the attachments are tuned all the way up and all the way to the right. This will prioritize recoil control and damage range for the long-range TAQ-56 loadout in Warzone 2.
