While NICKMERCS has been off Warzone for some time now, the popular streamer returned to try out the new map Fortune’s Keep, which he said he loves.

Warzone Season 4 introduced a brand-new map to entice players to hop on and explore. While some players’ initial thoughts have been slightly negative, perhaps because they’re missing Rebirth Island, NICKMERCS has expressed a positive opinion regarding the map.

In a recent stream, NICKMERCS explained why he likes the new map, and what kind of player would like Fortune’s Keep.

NICKMERCS left Warzone for Apex Legends, becoming addicted to the ranked mode grind that Respawn’s battle royale has to offer.

Despite continuing to enjoy Apex over Warzone, NICKMERCS returned to Call of Duty’s battle royale for the Season 4 update, intrigued by the new map Fortune’s Keep.

NICKMERCS has been pretty open about his feelings towards Warzone and Caldera, sharing similar opinions to Dr Disrespect. Having said that, NICKMERCS seems to be enjoying Fortune’s Keep, as while playing it on June 22 he said “I really like the map, yeah a lot.”

NICKMERCS went on to say, “I love the map…what can’t you like? It’s kind of more dynamic than the old one…there’s a cave, there’s a lot more towns and stuff.”

The popular streamer is clearly enjoying the map design for Fortune’s Keep, especially the variation in the POIs and elevation throughout the map.

NICKMERCS even feels that the map is perfectly suited to those who like to play fast: “If you’re like a speed runner, like if you play super quick man, oh my god…parkour on this thing man.”

Perhaps this will draw NICKMERCS back in, or maybe the ranked mode on Apex Legends is still a priority for the streamer. Either way, like other CoD fans, NICKMERCS will likely be looking forward to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.
