Fortune’s Keep made its long-awaited return in Warzone Season 2, but players are struggling to find a key piece of loot on the map, which they claim is ruining the experience for them so far.

The Warzone Season 2 update is here, bringing with it a selection of new guns to unlock in the Battle Pass, along with plenty of buffs and nerfs. It also marked the return of Fortune’s Keep for the first time since the Caldera days, coming with its own Ranked Play mode.

Players fell in love with the Resurgence map when it first arrived in 2022, with many praising its fast-paced match and frantic gunfights. So, when the devs announced it would be coming back, many were understandably excited.

However, now that Fortune’s Keep is back in the game, many Warzone players have noticed a major issue that’s disrupting the flow of each match.

Reddit user ‘Delpiero45’ shared a post asking, “Anyone else notice the little amount of armor plates on fortunes keep??” before going on to explain their frustrations on the latest version of the map.

“Massive issue rn, there is a really poor amount of plates spawning on this new map. You have to hit 10 boxes to find 3 armor plates,” said the OP. “They need to fix this asap bc idk how you can have such a fast gameplay map with the current amount of armor spawns.”

Plenty of other Warzone players agreed, claiming that they struggled to find armor at the start of matches, leaving them vulnerable after landing.

“Yup and people are on top of you immediately so it makes the lack of plates even worse,” said one reply, with another adding: “They do this literally every time they drop a new map. Why learn from your previous mistakes when you can just repeat them every patch?”

The devs have responded to an armor plate loot problem with an X post, saying: “We are investigating an issue causing eliminated Players to drop fewer Armor Plates than intended.”

However, this post didn’t mention Fortune’s Keep specifically and seems to focus on plates that drop after a kill, rather than the armor found while looting the map. Only time will tell if this issue will be addressed by the fix the devs are working on, or if another will be pushed out down the line.
