Warzone 2 guru JGOD shared his worries over the Call of Duty title’s current state and claimed that the developers can still save” the game by implementing major fixes.

The Season 2 update brought a plethora of fun new content to Warzone 2 that players are hopping in the game to check out, including the Resurgence map known as Ashika Island and new weapons like the Crossbow.

However, Warzone 2 expert JGOD is not content with the current state of the game, claiming that there are several things holding it back from being great, and the developers need to make significant changes.

In his video, JGOD went over the cons of Warzone 2, including “a lack of updates and a stale meta.” He complained about players mostly using the “broken” RPK and Fennec for several matches.

JGOD was also frustrated that it takes a long time to buff and nerf weapons. Other complaints included laggy servers, “crappy” audio, as well as a lack of new modes like Duos, Trios, Iron Trials, and more. He described the current state of the game as “uninspired” and “lazy.”

Warzone 2 Season 2 brought band-new content, and more will arrive in the mid-season update.

He pointed to problems that can lead to slower matches, such as the reduced walking, sprinting, menu, and zone speed compared to the first game. When talking about the gameplay, JGOD explained that addressing these would “solve about 90% of the issues.”

Another suggestion was that one-shot sniping should only be included “if it’s a high-skill thing to use a Sniper.” JGOD plays the game for 45 minutes every day and feels that it’s not performing as well as it should.

Rather than feeling like a CoD title, JGOD claimed that Warzone 2 is more like “a battle royale game that happens to be a Call of Duty game.” However, he made it clear that many of these cons are “super easy to fix.”

He feels that it’s entirely possible for Warzone 2 to be “saved” if the developers listen to this constructive criticism and implement major changes to address these issues. It remains to be seen how many of these issues will be fixed in Warzone 2 Season 3.
