Warzone 2 Season 2 introduced the Crossbow into the game, so here’s our best loadout for the Marksman Rifle so you can take advantage of the new weapon’s power.

The launch of Warzone 2 Season 2 introduced players to some brand-new weapons, with the mid-season update also set to shake the meta up with a new Marksman Rifle.

One of the most intriguing weapons now in the game courtesy of the Season 2 update is the Crossbow Marksman Rifle. When the Crossbow arrived in the original Warzone, it definitely caught the community’s attention, as players quickly realized it was a strong option.

If you’d like to test out the Crossbow in Warzone 2, here’s our best loadout for it, including the attachments and Perks to use with it.

Best Warzone 2 Crossbow loadout attachments

  • Arms: SO Momenti
  • Optic: Slimline Pro
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7mw
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Wire: 28-Stand Cable

The SO Momenti arms attachment will increase the Warzone 2 Crossbow’s bullet velocity and damage range, which is vital, especially on Al Mazrah. Combined with the VLK LZR 7mw for extra aim down sight speed and you’ll be hitting your shots nice and fast.

Next, the 28-Stand Cable will further improve the bullet velocity, while the FTAC Ripper 56 stock will provide some much need aiming stability.

As for the optic, something clean like the Slimline Pro is perfect for the Crossbow, as you’ll need a clear sight to hit your shots, but you could opt for something with a higher zoom for more range.

Best Warzone 2 Crossbow loadout Perks & Equipment

  • Base Perk 1: Bomb Squad
  • Base Perk 2: Scavenger
  • Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
  • Ultimate Perk: Ghost
  • Lethal: Throwing Knife
  • Tactical: Flash Grenade

Players finally have the ability to create their own custom Perk Package, and we’ve opted for Bomb Squad and Scavenger as the Base Perks. These Perks will keep you stacked up with ammo and protected against enemy explosives.

The most essential Perk for the Crossbow is Fast Hands, as the reload is very slow and you’ll have to load another arrow after each shot, so this Perk is a must.

Lastly, we have Ghost for our Ultimate Perk, as with the Crossbow you’ll definitely want to take players by surprise, which Ghost will certainly help with.

As for Equipment, to match the style of the Crossbow we’ve gone with the Throwing Knife, which is absolutely deadly and allows you to eliminate downed enemies nice and fast so that you can grab their loot. We’ve also gone for the Flash Grenade so you can take enemies by surprise.

Best alternatives to the Crossbow in Warzone 2

The Crossbow is a mid-range Marksman Rifle with a lot of power per shot, but if you’re looking for something faster and more versatile, definitely give the TAQ-V Battle Rifle a go.

Maybe you want something with even more power, if that’s the case than the MCPR-300 is another great alternative.
