Warzone 2 Season 4 brought the brand-new Vondel map, but it’s also bringing changes to Al Mazrah. Here are all the Al Mazrah map changes that arrived with the Season 4 update.

The Warzone 2 Season 4 update arrived on June 14, bringing the brand-new Vondel map, three new weapons, and plenty of weapon buffs and nerfs.

While Vondel is sure to take center stage, players who have gravitated toward Al Mazrah since launch will be keen to discover the map changes that the Season 4 update delivered.

Sandstorm subsides as sand banks emerge in Warzone 2 Season 4

The sandstorm subsides across Al Mazrah in Season 4.

In Warzone 2 Season 4, the sandstorm will no longer batter Operators as they journey across the map. However, while the sandstorm departs, the damage it caused is plain to see in the Season 4 version of Al Mazrah.

Sand banks can now be seen in Al Mazrah City, and players can climb on top of the dunes to get a better look at incoming enemies and scout nearby buildings. You’ll notice piled-up dunes across some roads and the downtown area, but according to the devs, you can expect the biggest sand buildup near the “TV tower, the Embassy, and the ‘Highrise’ building.”

Those looking to move stealthily in and out of the city will be able to take advantage of the destruction that the sandstorm left behind as cover while maneuvering.

Warzone 2 Al Mazrah vegetation change in Season 4

The Warzone 2 devs decided to change the vibrancy of the vegetation across Al Mazrah. This was yet another small change that was revealed in the Warzone 2 Season 4 update patch notes.

While the devs did not provide extensive detail on what the change entailed, the “added vibrancy to vegetation throughout the map,” is expected to enhance the visual quality of Al Mazrah by adding clarity and color to the previously lifeless vegetation.

The final change to Al Mazrah that’s worth noting is an adjustment to the number of Buy Station spawns across the map in Season 4.

The patch notes included the following details: “Fixed a number of incorrect Buy Station spawn locations across Al Mazrah.”

This isn’t the first time that the devs looked to improve Buy Station spawn locations, as players have not been pleased with this exact issue in the past. Hopefully, this recent change will have alleviated the issue altogether.
