Vanguard players furious as Shipment & Das Haus 24/7 playlist removed
After being reimagined in Call of Duty: Vanguard, the Shipment map has been removed from the game along with Das Haus 24/7, and players are frustrated about this change.
The Shipment map has been changed numerous times since its debut back in Call of Duty 4. This area often leads to killstreaks and was remastered in a Vanguard playlist added on November 17.
This came with a few problems as players were frustrated over the score count for the map. Now, it seems that the playlist containing both Shipment and Das House has been removed, frustrating players.
Reddit user Xutsi highlighted this change in the CoD Vanguard subreddit. The developers seemed to have removed the playlist containing both of these maps as part of a new update.
“Just got an update after a game saying I need to refresh my game due to a playlist update and by the looks of it; The playlist containing only Shipment and Das House has been removed.”
The player then added that Double XP, Operator, and Battlepass XP are also gone. These changes didn’t sit well with fans, and many of the commenters expressed their frustration with the removal of Shipment and Das House.
“Why do they call it 24/7 if it’s not even there for 7 days,” wrote one user. “I’m not sure [Sledgehammer Games] know what 24/7 means.”
On the other hand, a few commenters agreed with these changes and claimed that the developers were always going to do this so that players could try out different content.
“These playlists are always intended to be time-limited,” wrote one commenter. “They want to encourage people to play a variety of content. Plus they don’t want to fragment the player base.”
At the time of writing, it remains to be seen whether or not this change is permanent, and we might see Shipment and Das House make their return after the developers make a few changes.
