Modern Warfare 2 devs confirm Season 4 brings final Raid Episode
ActivisionModern Warfare 2 Raids look to reach a conclusion as the devs confirmed that Season 4 would bring the finale for players to enjoy.
The Modern Warfare 2 Season 4 update is expected to arrive on June 14, bringing three new weapons at launch, a classic Call of Duty map, and new Operators to unlock.
In a Season 4 roadmap blog, the devs peeled back the curtain on all of the new content coming in with the major update. In addition, the blog also revealed vital information about Modern Warfare 2 Raids.
It seems Modern Warfare 2 Raid Episode 4 will act as the final chapter when the Season 4 Reloaded update rolls around.
Modern Warfare 2 Season 4 Reloaded Raid finale
The Modern Warfare 2 Season 4 blog confirmed that “The last RAID episode for Special Ops will be released as part of Season 04 Reloaded.”
With each new season, Modern Warfare 2 players received new Raid Episodes that expanded on the story told in the campaign. Raid episodes tend to arrive with mid-season updates, and the devs confirmed that the story would conclude with the Season 4 Reloaded update.
At this moment, there’s no telling when the Season 4 Reloaded update is expected to arrive. Once the Season 4 Battle Pass timer is revealed, we’ll get a better look at the estimated halfway point.
The blog also confirmed that those who complete the Raid Episode 4 in Modern Warfare 2 will unlock a new Farah Operator skin.
Another Season 4 Reloaded addition that Modern Warfare 2 players can look forward to is the Vondel Waterfront core map, which will bring a section of the new Warzone map to multiplayer.
