Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded has brought Episode 2 of the Atomgrad Raid for players to tackle. Here’s a complete breakdown of how to quickly complete this Raid.

Modern Warfare 2 has received a significant content drop with the arrival of the Season 2 Reloaded update, which brought the brand-new Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle and numerous weapon balancing changes.

Season 2 Reloaded also features Episode 2 of the Atomgrad Raid which continues the narrative of the Modern Warfare 2 campaign. We’ve got a complete walkthrough detailing everything that you need to do.

How to access the Atomgrad Raid Episode 2 in Modern Warfare 2

The good news is that as of Season 2 Reloaded, anyone who owns Modern Warfare II will be able to access both episodes of the Atomgrad Raid without having to first obtain Raid Assignments.

It’s worth noting that there is a bug causing Episode 2 to be listed as Episode 1. You can know you’ve selected the right Raid by looking at the top right corner of the screen where it should show the Bad Boonie Operator skin as the regular completion reward.

]You’ll need two friends to help you as Raids cannot be completed in Solos. Since teamwork is going to be a major aspect of this Raid, we recommend that you and your friends get headsets or some other way of communicating with each other.

After the opening cutscene ends, you and your teammates will find yourselves in a missile silo and will have to climb up the wall using the ladder. You’ll then progress through a hallway filled with enemies that you’ll have to eliminate on your way.

How to solve steam valve puzzle 1 in Modern Warfare 2 Atomgrad Raid Episode 2

After you reach the exit of the hallway, you’ll be able to climb up the wall but will need to watch out for the steam. In order to get past this, one player must stay behind to turn the red valve that makes the first jet of steam disappear.

Here’s what to do:

1. Have one player stay down and turn the red valve.
2. The climbing player then continues up toward the next steam jet.
3. The player at the bottom turns the valve again to cause the second stream jet to disappear.
4. The player at the top turns another valve, allowing the others to follow.

It’s worth noting that a Juggernaut will spawn here, so you and your teammates will need to remain ready for a fight.

How to complete vent jump puzzle 1 in Modern Warfare 2 Atomgrad Raid Episode 2

You will then reach a large gap with circular venting flaps on the left side and a large console in front of you. You and your teammates will have to press all three buttons at the same time and then start jumping across the flaps.

Here’s what to do:

1. Go to the console with your teammates.
2. Press all three buttons at the same time.
3. Quickly jump across the venting flaps.
4. Jump slightly to the right to reach the other side.

However, two players jumping on the same flap simultaneously will cause it to close because of the weight, sending you plummeting to your deaths. So, you’ll have to go one at a time and move fast. You can then interact with the yellow rope to reach the next level.

How to complete vent jump puzzle 2 in Modern Warfare 2 Atomgrad Raid Episode 2

The second jump puzzle will be a bit trickier as you no longer jump straight forward across a gap. Instead, you’ll need to make your way up along the yellow pipes and change sides while jumping on the venting flaps.

Here’s the exact order of the vent flaps:

1. The first three open one after another.
2. The next one is by the beginning of the yellow pipes below you.
3. Jump before the flap opens. You’ll land on it as it opens while you’re in the air.
4. The next one is up the yellow pipes.
5. Jump onto the flap in front of you.
6. Jump on the opposite flap and make your way along the wall.
7. The final flap will be below you.

Once you land on the other side, you should progress through the blue door. Defeat the soldiers you encounter in the passage until you reach a mine shaft. Take out all the opponents and interact with the yellow rope to climb up to the next level.

How to solve valve puzzle 2 in Modern Warfare 2 Atomgrad Raid Episode 2

You will not be able to access the next rope as it’s being blocked by a burst of fire, and one player will need to stay behind to deactivate the gas by turning a red valve. The others will need to make their way up while this happens.

Here’s what you should do:

1. Have one player turn the red valve.
2. The other players should wait for the fire to stop.
3. The climbers should then make their way up.
4. After reaching the top, the climbers can press the other valve to allow the player at the bottom too join them.

Take out the enemies you encounter and go through the blue door. Then, you should go through the hole in the floor at the end of the pathway and open another door.

How to complete vent jump puzzle 3 in Modern Warfare 2 Atomgrad Raid Episode 2

After going through the door, you’ll reach the third and most difficult vent jump puzzle in Atomgrad Raid Episode 2. For this one, you’ll need to time your jumps with more precision in order to get across.

Here’s what to do:

1. Press all three buttons on the console with your teammates at the same time.
2. Jump onto the vent flaps on the left side and go forward.
3. After you’re ahead of the cage, immediately jump to the wall flaps on the right side.
4. Move forward along the right side until you reach the blue door.

Once that’s done, dive into the hole on the floor and move along the hallway until you spot more holes in the ground. Drop through them and defeat all the enemies that you encounter before making your way toward the armory.

How to solve the gas puzzle in Modern Warfare 2 Atomgrad Raid Episode 2

You will find three switch terminals along the right side of the room, and your team members will need to be in different positions. Each of these terminals controls a different aspect of the room, and we’ll list down their functions:

1. The first terminal you encounter controls the ventilation system.
2. The second terminal can turn off the fans.
3. The third terminal opens a door.
4. The final terminal is for the door leading to the gas section.

Don’t worry, as you’ll be able to see each terminal’s purpose when you approach it. We’ll go over how to complete this gas puzzle:

1. Position player one at the ventilation terminal and player two at the door control.
2. A third player should go down the staircase to the locked door.
3. Player one will press the button to release the gas and player two will then open the door.
4. Player three must move forward until he reaches the red fans.
5. Player one should move to the terminal that stops the fans and push the button.
6. Player one must tell the teammate which fan has turned off so he can proceed.
7. When player three reaches a locked door, player two at the door control should press the button.
8. Player three must defeat all the enemies he encounters.
9. Player three will reach more terminals.
10. Player one stays behind while player two moves to the door leading to the gas puzzle.
11. Player three will deactivate the gas using the terminal on his end.
12. Player one will open the door so player two can progress forward.
13. After player two reaches the door, player one should head back to the door control and open the final door.
14. Player one should go to the gas puzzle entrance and player two must deactivate the gas while player three opens the door.
15. Player one progresses to his waiting teammates.

How to exit the Modern Warfare 2 Atomgrad Raid Episode 2

The Atomgrad Raid Episode 2 ends with you escaping from the leaking gas while eliminating enemies you encounter along the way. Make your way to the end of the last hall and up the stairs until you reach a cracked wall that you must blow up with C4.

You will eventually reach a yellow tunnel with an airlock that you must activate to complete the Raid.
