Infinity Ward bring another Raid to Call of Duty with Modern Warfare 2’s Season 2 Reloaded update, but can you play this team-based mode as a solo player? Here’s everything you need to know including how to Find A Party.

With Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded almost here, players will soon be able to jump into the Atomgrad Episode 2 Raid. Continuing the campaign’s story, players take control of Price, Farah, and Gaz once again, battling deadly AI and completing puzzles to reach the end of the Raid.

The first Raid, especially it’s Veteran Mode, had a strong emphasis on tight teamwork, but what does that mean for solo players? Here’s whether you can solo queue and match into Modern Warfare 2’s Raids.

Can you queue into Modern Warfare 2 Raids solo?

Due to their team-based nature, you cannot play Modern Warfare 2 Raids as a solo player. You have to squad up with two other players to queue into the Raid.

You must already be in a pre-established team before queueing up, and you can’t matchmake with other solo players like you would in Warzone Squad modes. “This activity won’t be matchmade, you will need to squad up prior to entering the Raid,” confirmed Infinity Ward level designer Adrian Sandoval.

“No one fights alone, that’s a staple of Call of Duty since the very first Call of Duty and that’s something that I think the Raid embodies very well because you’re not going to be able to get through this alone,” explained lead narrative designer Justin Harris.

You won’t need a Raid Key for Episode 2 so once you’ve teamed up, you’ll be able to queue into Atomgrad Episode two and unlock the new Bad Boonie skin for Captain Price.

How to find teammates for Modern Warfare 2 Raid

If you don’t already have a team for Modern Warfare 2’s Atomgrad Episode 2 Raid, then you can use the Find A Party option.

Here’s how to Find A Party for Modern Warfare 2’s Raids.

  1. Launch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
  2. Select the Raid episode you wish to play.
  3. Click on the ‘Find A Party’ option.
  4. Ensure ‘Voice Required’ is enabled — you’ll need voice chat to solve the puzzles.
  5. Select the language(s) you speak.
  6. Hit ‘Start Search.’

Currently, this is the only way you enter a Modern Warfare 2 Raid as a ‘Solo’ player, as you must be in a party of three to play.
