The new M13C Assault Rifle has hit Modern Warfare 2 and is looking to make a name for itself in multiplayer. If you’re considering taking it for a spin, here’s the best M13C loadout in Modern Warfare 2 Season 5 complete with attachments, Perks, and Equipment.

The Modern Warfare 2 Season 5 update shook up the meta in a number of interesting ways. Not only did it introduce the new Carrack .300 and FR Avancer, but it also brought some major buffs and nerfs to the rest of the guns in the game.

It didn’t stop there, though, as the Modern Warfare 3 reveal event has brought the new M13C, a “versatile and hard-hitting” Assault Rifle looking to become a meta contender in Season 5.

Here’s the best M13C loadout in Modern Warfare 3, including the ideal attachments, Equipment, and Perks to run.

Best Modern Warfare 2 M13C loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: FTAC Castle Comp
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Pro
  • Rear Grip: D37 Grip
  • Magazine: 45 Round Mag

We begin our best M13C loadout in Modern Warfare 2 with the FTAC Castle Comp, eliminating much of the horizontal and verticle recoil to keep the rifle on target. Then, we’ve gone for the VLK LZR 7MW for improved sprint-to-fire speed, ensuring you always land those crucial early shots.

The D37 Grip offers some additional recoil control, which allows the M13C to hold its own on larger multiplayer maps. We’ve also chosen to run the Cronen Mini Pro Optic for additional accuracy, but this could easily be swapped for an Underbarrel if you’re happy with the iron sights.

Finally, the M13C can chew through ammo at a rapid pace, so 45 Round Mags should let you deal with multiple enemies before having to reload.

Best Modern Warfare 2 M13C Perks & Equipment

  • Base Perk 1: Tracker
  • Base Perk 2: Double Time
  • Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
  • Ultimate Perk: Ghost
  • Lethal: Drill Charge
  • Tactical: Flash Grenade

When it comes to Perks, we recommend starting with Tracker, which highlights enemy footsteps to help you hunt them down. Then, Double Time increases your sprint duration to make you extremely mobile, letting you quickly move around the map.

Fast Hands is essential as it allows you to reload and switch weapons almost instantly, minimizing the length of time you’re out of action. Finally, Ghost keeps you hidden from enemy Killstreaks like UAVs and VTOLs.

Equipment-wise, the Drill Charge is a powerful tool that can quickly dispatch enemies behind cover, while Flash Grenades are an ideal way to blind a target before moving in for the kill.

How to unlock M13C in Modern Warfare 2

Modern Warfare 2 payers can unlock the M13C by helping to kill five commanders in Warzone 2’s Shadow Siege event. There is currently no way to earn the gun in MW2 itself, so the Modern Warfare 3 reveal event is the only method of unlocking it.

It remains to be seen if the M13C will be available through an in-game challenge once the event concludes on August 21, but we’ll be sure to update this section with the latest details.

Best M13C alternatives in Modern Warfare 2

If you’re looking to swap the M13C for another Assault Rifle, the TAQ-56 has arguably been the best weapon in Modern Warfare 2 since launch. Alternatively, the classic M4 is a reliable rifle with very few weaknesses.
