Baldur’s Gate 3 has numerous NPCs who inhabit Faerun, but some especially caught the eye of fans despite having minor roles in the narrative. Here’s what the Baldur’s Gate 3 community has been talking about.

Larian Studios built a full-fledged world in Baldur’s Gate 3, which is filled with characters that guide players throughout their adventure. Most characters usually are NPCs, and even if they don’t have a specific role in the game, they have won fans’ hearts with just a few lines of dialogue.

Baldur’s Gate 3 players gathered to discuss which “irrelevant” side characters caught their attention and revealed that there were some favorites among NPCs with smaller roles. “For me, it is this Gith,” said Redditor ‘literalykhloe’ about Sarth Bareta, a Githyanki that only appears once during a cutscene in Act 1. “I think she looks fascinating and I love how she looks.”

Some fans admitted to especially love the caretaker from the Crèche, an NPC that is in charge of guarding Githyanki’s eggs. While they highlighted that this character was less than a sidenote to the whole narrative, he also showed that, besides Lae’zel, Giths was capable of some tender feelings.

Other users agreed that Abdirak, whom players can interact with in the Goblin Camp, would surely be one of the favorites. “Because of that whole scene, I was planning on making a Cleric of Loviatar, but she’s not an option,” admitted user ‘Cynical_Dreamer_1980.’

Both Dammon and Alfira were highlighted by Baldur’s Gate 3 players, and while they have minor appearances throughout the game, they are among the most loved NPCs. Besides them, fans also included Lucretious, owner of the “Circus of The Last Days”, who was deemed as one of the most hilarious characters.

Surprisingly, some players included Mayrina in their favorites, despite many users saying she was one of the most “annoying” characters. “Her devotion to her husband is admirable although perhaps the whole child sacrifice was taking things a bit too far,” commented user ‘maddamadas.’

And that’s everything on which were the favorite minor NPCs of the Baldur’s Gate 3 community. If you want to know more about Larian Studios’ RPG, you can check which is the class you won’t regret choosing in Faerun and what is the dialogue option players love in the game.
