Apex Legends players are expressing worry after the Uprising Collection Event announcement, as the devs are yet to reveal any Christmas-themed content for the battle royale.

Apex Legends has provided players with plenty of seasonal and holiday-themed content over the years, whether it be Halloween or the Lunar New Year.

One of the battle royale’s most anticipated events each year is the Christmas-themed content, mostly due to the extremely popular Winter Express LTM that comes around. As we approach December, many fans are wondering what 2023’s Christmas content will look like for Apex, and some are even worried there won’t be any.

After announcing the Uprising Collection Event, which brings a new LTM and Loba’s Prestige Skin, players in the Apex Legends subreddit quickly noticed that the event runs from December 5 through to January 2, 2024. This had led to players asking where the “Christmas event” is, fearing there might be nothing planned.

Some comments in the Reddit post above are optimistic that something Christmas-related will arrive in Apex, as one said “There’s only two options: they put a few Christmas cosmetics in-store or they do the Christmas event mid-January.”

It’s unlikely that Respawn will put a Christmas event out post-December, so it’s much more likely that we will see some sort of Christmas-themed content during the new event.

Chances are the devs haven’t announced the Apex Legends Christmas content just yet and it will come alongside the Collection Event, as these only tend to last two weeks, but this one is staying for just under a month.

The length of the Uprising Collection Event suggests that the Christmas content could come towards the end of December, with the Winter Express LTM potentially replacing the Uprising LTM, which some in the community would love to see: “I do hope they still add Winter Express for a week or two. Would suck if they skip out on it this year.”

We’ll have to wait and see, but for now, make sure to check out how many people are playing Apex Legends and the best guns to use.
