Apex Legends is set to get a new Collection Event in Season 18, and the devs have revealed the name and contents of the upcoming update.
After enjoying the Harbingers event, a Halloween-themed event is in-bound right after. The event is called Doppelgangers, and it looks to be bringing a heap of content.

Apex Legends Doppelgangers Collection Event release date
The Apex Legends Doppelgangers Collection Event will launch on October 17, 2023, and will end on October 31, Halloween.
This event is Halloween-themed, and it will bring night versions of the Olympus, Kings Canyon, and World’s Edge maps, as well as a new Prestige skin.

Revenant Prestige skin
A new Prestige skin will arrive with the Doppelgangers event, and this time it’s for Revenant. The Prestige skin is called “Apex Nightmare,” and it will come with a Finisher and a Dive Trail.
Doppelgangers Collection Event skins
The Collection Event also brings a set of 24 cosmetics, including Legendary skins. The Legends receiving skins in this Doppelgangers Collection Event are Newcastle, Mirage, Lifeline, Vantage, Pathfinder, and Wraith.
Players can also expect a free reward tracker, new challenges, and more.
Apex Legends Halloween LTM: Trick N’ Treat Trios
The Doppelgangers event will bring the Trick N’ Treat Trios LTM. This LTM puts a “spooky twist” on Trios, where players can pick up a new mode-exclusive survival item called the Copycat Kit. This gives players a pick of a handful of Legend abilities, from Tacticals to Ultimates, which can be reused.
The pool of Legend abilities in the Copycat Kit are as follows:
- Bloodhound’s Tactical
- Horizon’s Tactical
- Mirage’s Tactical
- Wraith’s Tactical
- Octane’s Ultimate
- Caustic’s Ultimate
- Ash’s Ultimate
- Catalyst’s Ultimate
Players can also find “Candy” while playing the mode, an item that will provide EVO points and Ultimate charge. This is essential in this mode, as armor does not spawn on the floor, so you’ll want to pick up as much Candy as you can find to level up your EVO Shield.
