Since its temporary removal, Apex Legends players seem to be enjoying life without the Rampage.

Apex Legends hasn’t seen many changes since the start of Season 11. Apart from the recent Dark Depths event, which is basically just a sale, players have been awaiting new content such as LTMs for some time now.

Having said that, due to an exploit, both the Sentinel and Rampage were taken out of the game’s loot pool and it seems some players are enjoying the temporary change quite a lot.

Recently, players have been finding all sorts of tricks and exploits in Apex Legends. One of the biggest exploits that really affected the player experience was the Sentinel and Rampage infinite charge-up.

This exploit basically allowed players to keep both the weapons in their charged state for as long as the player wanted, which is of course extremely powerful. The devs responded fairly quickly by taking the weapons out of the loot pool across the game’s modes temporarily.

For some, this change has been enjoyed more than perhaps the devs expected, especially when it comes to the Rampage as this weapon is very powerful even without being charged up.

Reddit user Hartley672 put up a post with an image of a poll that asked the question “Is apex more enjoyable without the rampage?”

As you can see 40,000 people participated in the poll and 69% voted “yes.” Further, the Redditor who posted the poll also agrees with the majority and their post also has over 9,000 upvotes, showing just how many players are enjoying the game without the Rampage.

One comment under the post even stated: “I didn’t even realize they took the rampage out.”

Despite the poll showing a majority of players enjoying the game without the weapon, there is one group of players in particular that are missing the weapon. Rampart’s main passive is that she can hold more bullets in a magazine for LMGs and also reload them faster.

Rampart mains are the ones who are feeling the negative impact of the Rampage’s removal, with one user commenting: “I’m sad because as a rampart main I enjoy having a decent lmg.”

We’re sure the Rampage and Sentinel will be returning once a fix has been established by Respawn, even if the majority are enjoying life without it. For more, check out the leaked details for the Apex Legends Season 12 Collection Event.
