An Apex Legends dataminer has revealed future content that may be coming in Season 12, including details for new Hop-Ups and Optics.

Apex Legends Season 11 hasn’t had much content for players since the mid-season split. Despite the Dark Depths event dropping on January 11 with a new Arenas map and skins, players are disappointed with the lack of new LTMs.

Luckily, Season 12 is just around the corner, and players can expect plenty of new content when a new season arrives. Dataminers have even found some code that reveals future Hop-Ups and Optics.

Dataminer KralRindo is the one responsible for the latest leaks, as they revealed some code in the Apex Legends files that details two new Hop-Ups and “laser sights” that may be arriving in Season 12.

First off, let’s get into the Hop-Ups. KralRindo revealed two new Hop-Up names in the code:

  • Explosive Lobber
  • Kinetic Loader

The Explosive Lobber will be for the L-Star only, while the Kinetic Loader will be available for the Peace Keeper, Volt, and the Alternator. The fact that it is available for the Alternator suggests that the SMG may be taken out of the Care Package when this Hop-Up arrives.

Lastly, the dataminer also shared code for what seems to be “laser sights.” From the code, it seems these will be coming in different colors and exclusively for Pistols and SMGs.

This will definitely be an interesting addition to the game, and perhaps the color of these laser sights will be customizable much like the reticles.

We’ll have to wait and see when these new pieces of content will be added into the game, but it would make sense to see them in Season 12, as that is the next big update.
