According to a recent blog post, Apex Legends Mobile will receive new mobile-first Legends before they’re set to appear anywhere else.

The excitement for Apex Legends Mobile is beginning to mount as Respawn Entertainment slowly peel back the curtains revealing interesting information about the new game.

Although we currently do not have an official release date, pre-registration for Apex Legends Mobile opened on March 17 and over 7.5 million users have already signed up. As the focus on the mobile iteration grows, Respawn Entertainment revealed that new Legends will arrive on Apex Legends Mobile ahead of the main game.

Some long-time Apex Legends fans may be surprised to discover that Respawn Entertainment will be prioritizing Apex Legends Mobile with mobile-first content. It’s still too early to come to conclusions about how they’ll treat the original game.

After all, we currently do not know how long the content will be exclusive to Apex Legends Mobile before arriving on the main game. However, this may anger some players who have been critical of Respawn’s “lazy” addition of new Legends on PC and console.

It seems Respawn do not need any help establishing a player base with over 7.5 million users currently pre-registered for Apex Legends Mobile.

In a recent Respawn blog post players can find out how they’ll be able to “discover new mobile-first Legends with new stories to tell” while playing Apex Legends Mobile.

It turns out Apex Legends Mobile will be receiving more exclusive content than just new Legends as the blog also alludes to “Mobile-first adaptations & innovations – New Legends, maps, gameplay, modes, progressions, and live events”.

Offering different content across both games could turn out to be a great idea that would diversify the Apex Legends gameplay experience. Of course, this is only true if the original Apex Legends does not suffer from a lack of content as a result.
