A new Apex Legends leak has revealed that Respawn Entertainment might be planning to add a new type of Lootbin that will give players exactly what they need in battles.

When you hop into a match of Apex Legends, the first thing you’re going to want to do is to collect some weapons and attachments by looking through Lootbins that are lying around the map.

You won’t always come across the item that you’re looking for right away and will need to explore the map until you finally find it. However, a new leak is suggesting that might change with the addition of a new Smart Lootbin.

Supply Bin in Apex Legends

According to notable Apex Legends leaker ‘Shrugtal’, Respawn Entertainment are currently working on a new Smart Lootbin that will give players items that they need, based on their current loadout.

For example, if you need to add an Extended Heavy Mag to your inventory, then the Smart Lootbin will provide that specific item to you. The leaker also shared an image of what the Smart Lootbin will look like.

Considering the date of this discovery, it’s easy to think that this leaked Smart Lootbin might simply be part of an April Fool’s Day prank. However, content creator ‘KralRindo’ claimed that this isn’t the case.

They stated that the files for this new addition had been discovered in the last patch of Apex Legends, and it will arrive with “its own unique glowing effect.” However, they didn’t provide any details about when exactly these new supply boxes will be added.

If these leaks are accurate, then we might see the Smart Lootbin be released during the next Apex Legends map update. Adding a supply box that gives players exactly what they need could shake up the game’s meta.

However, it’s worth keeping in mind that these are currently just leaks, and this information was revealed on April Fool’s Day. So, it’s worth taking it with a grain of salt until the developers officially confirm its addition to the game.
