A new Apex Legends Collection Event has been released, so here’s everything you need to know about the Apex Legends Celestial Sunrise Collection Event.

The Apex Legends Spellbound update provided players with a bunch of new content, from the return of Control to the introduction of Private Matches, which unfortunately have some pretty strict requirements.

Despite this update bringing a collection of new cosmetics and Seer’s Heirloom, the devs have already released the next event. The Apex Legends Celestial Sunrise Collection Event has been dropped for Season 15, and it brings some interesting new content.

With that said, here’s everything you need to know about the event, including the new LTM, and skins.

Apex Legends Celestial Sunrise Collection Event start date

The Apex Legends Celestial Sunrise Collection Event arrived on January 24, 2023, during Season 15, and will end on February 7, 2023.

This new Collection Event is to “celebrate the dawn of a new year,” bringing new cosmetics as well as new ways to play Apex Legends.

Apex Legends Celestial Sunrise skins & rewards

Like any Apex Legends Collection Event, Celestial will be coming with 24 new cosmetic items, but instead of an Heirloom or Mythic skin to unlock, this time it’s a reactive weapon skin.

Reactive “Jadeite Retribution” Peacekeeper skin

This is the first time we’ve seen a reactive weapon skin as the main prize for an Apex Legends Collection Event, and it will be for the Peacekeeper. This reactive Peacekeeper skin is called “Jadeite Retribution,” and it will also include a Weapon Charm and Holospray to complete the set.

The collection will also come with the following skins for Legends and weapons:

Legend skins

  • Ash – Opalescent Serpent (Legendary)
  • Caustic – Lion Guard (Legendary)
  • Octane – Lucky Rabbit (Legendary)
  • Pathfinder – Dragon Warrior (Legendary)
  • Wattson – Operatic Aquamarine (Epic)
  • Newcastle – Jade Fortress (Epic)

Weapon skins

  • Wingman – Serpent’s Fang (Legendary)
  • Devotion – Dragon’s Breath (Legendary)
  • Volt – Paying It Forward (Legendary)
  • Hemlok – Ornate Dragon (Legendary)

The Apex Legends Celestial Collection Event also includes a reward tracker with free items to earn, including an Epic R-99 skin.

New Apex Legends Hardcore LTM & Date Night

The Apex Legends Celestial Sunrise Collection Event also comes with a new LTM, a brand-new Hardcore limited-time mode.

This new Hardcore LTM features a limited HUD and various other restrictions to make the battle royale harder. This new LTM will go live when the event launches. For more information on this new LTM, check out our piece on the Apex Legends Hardcore LTM explained.

Two weeks later, once this event ends, the Date Night LTM will be arriving on February 7, which brings a fun new way to play with your Duo partner of choice.

In this mode, there will be a unique healing mechanic and new weapon, so make sure you check out our dedicated piece on the Apex Legends Date Night LTM for all the details.
