Valorant is one of the most popular shooters in 2023 and millions of players dive into the game every month on PC. If you’re wondering if you can play Valorant on Xbox or PlayStation, here’s what you need to know.

Riot launched Valorant in June 2020 and the game has been a massive hit ever since, getting plenty of updates and new Agents to keep things fresh for the players. The title’s going through Act 3 of Episode 7, with many in the community looking forward to the start of Episode 8 next year.

The beginning of each Act usually results in new and old players jumping into Valorant to enjoy the new content. So, if you’re wondering if you can dive into Valorant on Xbox or PlayStation, we’ve got the answer for you.

Can you play Valorant on Xbox & PlayStation consoles?

No, Valorant isn’t available on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. It’s been well over three years since Valorant’s launch, and Riot hasn’t announced any plans to develop or port the title over to consoles.

However, Valorant is one of the featured games on Xbox Game Pass since December 12, 2022, which lets you unlock the following benefits:

  • All current Agents
  • Instant access to new Agents
  • 20% Match XP boost which counts towards the Events and Battle Pass progression

Which platforms have Valorant?

Valorant is accessible through the Riot Client only on PCs in 2023. Riot has confirmed and have been working on Valorant Mobile ever since the PC title was released. The mobile version has also been released for a closed beta in the China region, which has resulted in plenty of gameplay leaks as well.

It’s also interesting to note that Riot posted a couple of job openings, in November 2022, for Game Designers to specifically work on the console version of Valorant.

Riot is yet to make any announcements regarding the console version of Valorant, but we’ll make sure to provide an update here if there’s word on it from the devs.
