Starfield has plenty of ship vendors, and they sell some of the best ships in the game. Given how important ships are in Starfield, it is worth keeping note of these vendors. So, here are the best ship vendors in Starfield and where you can find them.

Ships are at the core of galactic adventures in Starfield, as they’ll help you hop through the many planets. However, they aren’t just only there for your ride, as ships can be more than a handful in combat, house your crew, and do so much more.

All that makes owning a formidable ship all the more important. If you don’t want to stress yourself out to build one, the easier route is to buy one, so the best way to access some great ships and parts is by locating ship vendors.

Ship vendors can be found across various systems, and require a ton of exploration to discover. To save you the trouble, however, we’ve got the best ship vendors in Starfield.

Starfield: Best ship vendors

Ship vendors in Starfield are locations that offer purchasable ships and ship parts. There are more than a dozen of these locations in the game. However, only a few sell ships worthy of your Credits, alongside rare habs that have a distinct visual aesthetic.

It’s important to note that ship vendors will sell you different items based on your in-game level. To gain access to the best ships and parts, players should upgrade their Starship Design and Piloting skills.

Neon

Veronica in Starfield
Taiyo Engineering ships in Starfield can be purchased by talking to Veronica.

Starfield’s own cyberpunk city, Neon, boasts a variety of ship vendors players can explore. Upon landing in the city, take a left from the landing pad to access the Ship services technician in the area. There are some high-quality ships and parts on offer.

For those looking for more aesthetic flavor, visit Taiyo Astroneering, located inside the Ryuijin building in the city. Talk to Veronica once you get there to view a catalog of excellent ships and some rare parts.

Deimos Staryard

The Deimos ship vendor in Starfield sells military-grade spaceships.

Deimos’ ship vendor can be found aboard a staryard within the Sol star system in Starfield. You can spot it orbiting the planet of Deimos and can dock with it after coming close enough. In the game’s universe, Deimos are ship manufacturers that primarily create vessels fit for space combat. This is reflected within their designs, which give a distinct military vibe.

Speaking with Nikau in the staryard will let you access Deimos’s catalog of ships and parts. On offer are some combat-ready spaceships, alongside some sleek cockpit habs.

Nova Galactic

Nova Galactic ships and parts can be purchased by traveling to Titan in Starfield.

Nova Galatic were among the first corporations to build spaceships in Starfield’s lore. While their staryard is worse for wear, you can access their ships and parts by heading to Titan in the Sol star system. Set a landing location for New Homestead and talk to the Ship services technician upon arrival.

You’ll find a variety of ships and parts, but the real highlight are the habs. These give off a real lived-in and homely feel, the kind you’d associate with the starting ship – Frontier.

The Key

The Key in Starfield
The Key houses Starfield’s pirate faction.

To access the ship vendor aboard The Key in Starfield, players must first progress through the Crimson Fleet questline. Eventually, you’ll gain access to the pirates’ HQ located in the Kryx star system. Once you’re in, locate an NPC named Jazz to access the Crimson Fleet’s ships.

This vendor sells some excellent vessels that pack in combat capabilities alongside sizable cargo holds.
