In order to complete the Resident Evil 4 Request, The Disgrace of the Salazar Family, which is found at the start of Chapter 12, players must throw an Egg at the painting of Ramon Salazar in the Throne Room.
This is a pretty hilarious side mission and can be quite difficult to figure out, as it’s unclear how you deface the image of Ramon. Shooting and stabbing the portrait won’t work, but egging it? Now that’s the way to do it.
To do this, follow these steps:
- First, you must find an Egg. In the Throne Room, where the portrait is, sit on the throne and once the cutscene finishes, the chicken in the room will have laid an Egg. There’s also a Golden Egg in the Cubic Device Lockbox in the same room.
- Next, locate Ramon Salazar’s portrait in the Throne Room of the Castle, which should be to the left.
- Then, open your inventory, select the Egg, equip it, aim, and throw it straight at the portrait.
Follow these steps and you’ll have disgraced the Salazar family in no time, earning you some Spinels from the Merchant.
