Torterra is weak to Bug, Fire, Flying, and Ice-type attacks in Pokemon. You should know that it is 4x weak to Ice-type moves, but with Terastallization to Fire or Rock type, it can brush off these weaknesses altogether.

Also, Torterra’s Speed stat is pretty low at a meager 56, but it has good bulk and offense. So as long as you’re accounting for its weaknesses with Terastallization, it will be all good.

The best moves for Torterra in Pokemon are Shell Smash, Bullet Seed, Rock Blast, and Earthquake.

Shell Smash is a non-damaging move that raises Torterra’s Attack, Special Attack, and Speed by two stages at the cost of having its Defense and Special Defense lowered by one stage. This move turns Torterra into a wrecking ball, helping you sweep entire teams.
Earthquake is one of the best moves in the franchise, and with Torterra’s STAB, it can OHKO powerful opponents without effort.
Bullet Seed and Rock Blast are multistrike moves that pair with the Held Item Loaded Dice to hit four or five times each time they are used. Once boosted by Shell Smash, these moves can OHKO Pokemon weak to them.
