Pokemon Unite Halloween Event

Pokemon Unite’s Halloween event is here and here’s all you need to know about it, including the debut of Mimikyu, bonuses, rewards, and more.

Pokemon Unite is ramping up its content drops as the new Halloween event begins, adding new items, holowear, and Halloween-themed challenges, missions, and rewards. A new Gacha Event is also being added, and trainers can exchange Halloween Coins for juicy Gacha-style prizes.

Mimikyu is also joining the roster of Pokemon Unite during the event, so trainers who want to try this new All-Rounder will have a great chance to do so.

Here’s all you need to know about the Pokemon Unite Halloween event, including the start date, duration, challenges, rewards, and more.

Pokemon Unite Halloween event date & schedule

The Pokemon Unite Halloween event starts on October 19 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET / 1 AM BST (October 20) and will run until November 9, 2023.

Pokemon Unite players will have plenty of time to enjoy the rewards, bonuses, and free content. Here are the details about the Pokemon Unite Halloween event challenges and bonuses.

Pokemon Unite Halloween event Mimikyu debut

Mimikyu is joining Pokemon Unite’s roster as an All-Rounder, and will change the current meta of the game for the better. Most All-Rounders have a considerable balance in their stats, but Mimikyu has a focus on offense and mobility, which makes it closer to a Speedster.

Mimikyu’s kit, which is also packed up with a lot of crowd control, dot, and traversal movement is ideal for ambushes and ganks, making it the most aggressive of All-Rounders so far. On the contrary, its kit lacks survivability and scoring skills, which makes it more of an off-laner and roamer than a Single-lane Pokemon.

Pokemon Unite new Held Items: Curse Incense & Curse Bangle

Two new Held Items are joining the arsenal of equipment for Pokemon Unite during the Halloween Event: Curse Bangle and Curse Incense. Both Items can be purchased in the Shop for 2000 Aeos Coins or 1250 Aeos Tickets.

Curse Bangle is a B-Tier attack Item that applies a healing hindrance effect when Attack-based damage is dealt to an opposing Pokemon. The recovery effects of said Pokemon are weakened for a short time, and when Attack-based basic attack damage is inflicted, the HP recovery effect duration is reset.

This makes it a great Held Item for attackers, all-rounders, and especially chaser-speedsters. Additionally, Curse Bangle adds extra Att. Damage to the Pokemon who holds this item.

Curse Incense does the same as Curse Bangle, but instead of activating with Attack-based damage, it is activated with Special Attack damage. It also applies healing hindrance on the targetted Pokemon and when the user Pokemon applies Sp. Att. basic attacks, it resets its effect.

This item also increases the holder Pokemon’s Sp. Att. status, making it a great addition to Attackers like Espeon, Delphox, Glaceon, and Sylveon, who depend on Sp. Attack as their primary stat.
