Pokemon Scarlet & Violet player shares useful tip to earn lots of in-game money
Game FreakPokemon Scarlet and Violet is a huge game with lots of things to do, places to be, and items to buy. And for that, you will need lots of money. But a player has discovered a way to earn a ton of in-game money, and they shared it with the Pokemon trainer community.
In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the currency is as important as Pokemon since you will be spending considerable amounts of it on items, ingredients for your Sandwiches, potions, Poke Balls, and more. Basically, everything in the game has a price tag, and farming money to purchase certain items like the Flashy Mask Festival Outfit can be a pain.
But for Reddit user DollytheDalmatian, farming money doesn’t need to be such a hassle. They have shared their own method to make getting all those PokeDollars as simple as effective. And here’s how they do it.
First, players need to have the following Pokemon in their teams:
- Have a Persian with the moves Pay Day and Switcheroo, equipped with Amulet Coin
- Have a Hisuian Zoroark with Happy Hour holding an Eject Button
- Have a Goldengo with Make It Rain and Trick
Then, players need to go and fight in the school tournament (ideally) and follow this procedure to make it worth their effort:
- Send Zoroark out and use Happy Hour, when the opponent attacks Zoroark, the Eject Button will switch it out.
- Send out a Persian and spam Pay Day, making sure that Persian stays alive by healing it when the need arises.
- If the opposite trainer sends out a Ghost-type Pokemon, use Switcheroo with Persian to put the Amulet Coin on the rival Pokemon.
- Switch to Gholdengo and use Trick to get the Amulet Coin back, then use Make it Rain.
According to DollytheDalmatian, this would maximize the prize money at the end of each fight. And as you can repeat the school tournament over and over, that’s the best way to farm money in the game so far.
