Pokemon Go players are enjoying a lot of bonuses and new Pokemon coming to the game with the Timeless Travels season, but there are still a couple of events left for this year, including the Winter Holiday Part 1 & 2.
The Winter Wonderland event will feature the debut of Wyrdeer, and for the first time ever, this Pokemon will be available in the game. Trainers are eager to know everything about this holiday event, and we have gathered all of the info right here.

The Pokemon Go Winter Wonderland event will be held on December 23, 2023, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time.
It will be a special Raid day to celebrate the debut of Wyrdeer in Pokemon Go. Trainers who want to get Wyrdeer should look ahead to this event.
Pokemon Go Winter Wonderland Wyrdeer debut
In the Pokemon Go Winter Wonderland event, Wyrdeer will arrive in the mobile game.
This Normal/Psychic-type Pokemon is the Hisuian evolution of Stantler, which originally debuted in Pokemon Legends Arceus. Like other forms including Braviary and Kleavor, it is only possible to obtain it in Pokemon Go through featured Raids.
Wyrdeer will appear in 3-Star Raid Battles, and a lot of extra bonuses for participating in Raids will be available during the event.
Pokemon Go Winter Wonderland event bonuses
Trainers who participate in the Pokemon Go Winter Wonderland event will be able to enjoy the following bonuses:
- Wyrdeer will be spawning more frequently in Raids.
- The chances of encountering a Shiny Wyrdeer are boosted.
- Up to five additional daily Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs during the event and up to two hours afterward.
- Remote Raid Pass limit increased to 10 from December 22, at 4 PM PST to Saturday 23, at 7 PM PST.
- Up to five Special Trades can be made per day.
- Trades made during the event require 50% less Stardust.
- Double XP for winning Raid Battles.
- PokeStop showcases for Wyrdeer will be active during the event.
Game FreakPokemon Go Winter Wonderland Collection Challenge
A new Collection challenge will be active during the Pokemon Go Winter Wonderland event. This Collection Challenge will send players on a quest to capture event-related winter Pokemon, and will award, among other things, encounters with Wyrdeer.
A Trade Focused Collection challenge will also be available, and trainers who complete it will receive an encounter with a Psyduck wearing holiday attire, among other rewards.
