The Pokemon Go Verdant Wonders event is coming our way, which marks the return of Zarude, the Rogue Monkey Pokemon, alongside the debut of shiny Flabebé. And here are all the details about this new and exciting event.

With its latest season World of Wonders, Pokemon Go has announced the Verdant Wonders event, which will mark the long awaited return of a fan favorite mythic beast: Zarude. It will also bring new costumed Pokemon and shiny Flabébé, which fans are excited to add to their collections.

Pokemon Go Verdant Wonders start date & time

Flabébé and its shiny version will be the stars of the Verdant Wonders event.

The Pokemon Go Verdant Wonders event will run from Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 10 AM to Monday, March 25, 2024, at 8 PM (local time).

Trainers will be able to participate regardless of whether they decide to purchase the Special Research access ticket, but they will need it if they want to encounter Zarude.

Pokemon Go Verdant Wonders shiny Flabebé & new Costumed Pokemon

New costumed Pokemon and shiny Flabébé will debut during the Pokemon Go Verdant Wonders event. The new costumed Pokemon will be Cottonee wearing a flower crown and Whimsicott wearing a flower crown.

Players will be able to evolve the new costumed Cottonee using 50 Candy into its costumed evolved form. Additionally, shiny Flabébé (in all its variants) will debut during this event, so keep an eye peeled for it.

Ticket holders of the Pokemon Go Verdant Wonders event will be able to enjoy the following bonuses:

The following Pokemon will appear more frequently when trainers use Incense (except Daily Adventure Incense). Those marked with a (*) can also be found as shiny:

For regular players, this event will also offer the possibility of completing a series of Research tasks and Collection Challenges that will reward Stardust, XP, and an encounter with Cottonee wearing a flower crown.

PokeStop showcases will also be active for all players during the event, so be on the lookout for them.

Pokemon Go Verdant Wonders Special Research story & Zarude encounter

Zarude is a Dark/Grass-type Mythical Pokemon.

To make the most out of the Verdant Wonders event, players need to purchase an entry ticket for US$7.99 (or the equivalent in your local currency) to be able to pick up the exclusive Special Research story, Rogue of the Jungle.

This Special Research will grant access to a series of tasks that will end up in a Reward encounter with Zarude. The research will also grant a series of lower-tier rewards such as: 2x Premium Battle Passes,
6x Silver Pinap Berries, 5x Rare Candies, 1x Incense, and several Dark-type and Grass-type Pokemon encounters.
